18th Century Soldiers on Horseback British School Oil on Board Framed

Description:

Period painting of two men on horseback with another man leading the horses. One man appears to be a British officer in a traditional red coat, the other rider is a man carrying a pistol, men are dressed in 18th century clothing. Signed in the lower right corner but is illegible. Painting came from Notting Hill Gate in London England, home of art galleries and antique dealers. Older painting with 18th century repairs to backing of board.

Painting is in Good Condition, not examined out of frame, with some paint loss, scuffs and scratches.
