This desk was copied from an antique in the Colonial Williamsburg collection, with nine drawers identically placed front and back. It is also sectional, with the two pedestals separate from the top. The ormolu handles are of cast brass. The original of this desk was found in the Governor's Place, an impressive desk, the Partner's desk lends great dignity to a professional office, home office a library or study. Very difficult desk to find, it is a true showpiece of the Colonial Williamsburg Collection.
