The original adoptable oval Gate Leg Table was made in England. The table was influenced by both Chinese and European styles. Featuring carved shells and pendant bellflower enhancing cabriole legs. The legs are attached at the rails so that they may swing like a gate, snug into the frame, allowing the leaves to be left up for dinner or down vertically for compact storage against the wall. This is a fine example of a Kittinger Williamsburg reproduction with high quality, high end construction and nice original finish.
